Tribal Mediation Ends Murder Dispute in Arhab

Arhab: A tribal mediation effort successfully resolved Tuesday a murder case between al-Jahila and al-Jaid families in Arhab district of Sana'a governorate. The reconciliation, overseen by Mohammed Ali al-Houthi and facilitated by a mediation committee of local officials, concluded with the victim's family granting pardon to the perpetrator in a gesture of forgiveness and social reconciliation.

According to Yemen News Agency, mediators praised the move as a reflection of Yemeni values of tolerance and unity, emphasizing its role in strengthening social cohesion and ending cycles of revenge. The victim's family said the decision aims to promote forgiveness and support efforts to resolve disputes and enhance peace within the community.
