Sana'a: The Presidential Committee participated in the celebratory event organized by the Dhula Square in Hamdan District, Sana'a Governorate, on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday. During the event, Deputy Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Fahd Al-Ezzi, emphasized the importance of celebrating the birth of the chosen light and guide, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and emulating his example and his fragrant life to restore the Islamic nation's dignity and its former glory, which was based on standing up to oppressors and arrogant people.
According to Yemen News Agency, Fahd Al-Ezzi praised the positive interaction of the people of Hamdan in holding celebrations, events, and activities to commemorate this precious occasion for the Yemeni people, as their ancestors were the first to support him at the beginning of the mission. Al-Ezzi indicated that the official and popular celebration of the birth of the best of humanity, comparable to any celebration at the level of Islamic countries, confirms the Yemeni people's constant support for the Greatest Messenger, their love for him, and their emulation of his fragrant life.
At the event, which was attended by Shura Council member Yahya Ayedh, Head of the Cultural and Media Affairs Department at the Presidential Office Zaid Al-Gharsi, Deputy Governor Atef Musli, and Director of the district Fahd Attia, cultural activist Talal Al-Ghader presented a historical overview of the support of the people of Yemen, especially the people of Hamdan, for the Great Prophet since the beginning of the mission and their declaration of Islam. He emphasized the people of Hamdan's commitment to loyalty to the Noble Prophet, continuing their support for him, and celebrating his honorable birth.
The event included a poem that addressed the greatness of the Noble Prophet and his noble qualities. The Presidential Committee, headed by Deputy Director of the Presidential Office Fahd Al-Ezzi and including Shura Council member Yahya Ayedh, Deputy Governor Atef Musli, and Director of the district Fahd Attia, also participated in the event, which was organized in the Wadi Dhahr Square in Hamdan District.
During the event, Head of the Cultural and Media Affairs Department at the Presidential Office Zaid Al-Gharsi and activist Jamil Sa'tar emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is an expression of love and loyalty to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and his family. They pointed out the importance of exploiting this occasion to recount the fragrant life of the Prophet and draw lessons and morals from his life.
They explained that celebrating the Prophet's birthday strengthens faith identity and contributes to consolidating Islamic values, contrary to what some promote as heresy, while holding lavish celebrations that contravene the teachings and values of the true Islamic religion. In addition, the Chairman and members of the Presidential Committee visited the Martyrs' Cemetery in the Alaw Dhala' area of Hamdan District and recited Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs who wrote heroic epics and made great sacrifices in defending the homeland and confronting enemies and mercenaries.
