Hajjah: The Prophet Mohammed's Birthday football tournaments continued on Tuesday in Hajjah Governorate, organized by local youth and sports office branches under the supervision of the governorate's Youth and Sports Office.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournaments saw a series of matches across various districts. In Khayran Al-Muharraq District, Al-Shabab Masrouh delivered a decisive performance, defeating Al-Ittihad Bani Hamla 10-0 to lead Group Two. Meanwhile, in Aflah Al-Yaman District, Al-Ansar Bani Falah triumphed over Ittihad Haran with a 4-2 score in Group One, and Ittihad Al-Jawana mirrored this result by beating Al-Ain Bani Yousuf in Group Two.
In Kushar District, Al-Burkan clinched a narrow 1-0 victory against Al-Shaheed Al-Sammad during the tournament held in Al-Talahiya. Additionally, in Aham, Mata secured a 3-0 win over Al-Suqoor, which resulted in the elimination of both teams from further contention. Concurrently, Al-Aswad overcame Najm Al-Bayadah with a 3-0 finish.
In Aflah Al-Sham, Al-Sumoud maintained its winning streak in Group Two, overcoming Al-Wahda 4-2 after a previous 6-3 victory against Al-Sammad. In Group One, Al-Rasoul Al-Azam showcased its strength by defeating Al-Shaheed Al-Ghamari 5-2.
Elsewhere, in Al-Shaghadirah District, Shabab Al-Maghawirah dominated Al-Jawareh with a 5-0 result, while Al-Jeel emerged victorious against Al-Yarmouk with a 3-0 score in Group Two. In Qafl Shamer District, Al-Majd narrowly edged out Al-Wahda with a 1-0 victory.
As the tournaments continued, Aslam District witnessed Al-Amal securing a 2-1 win over Al-Yarmouk, whereas Al-Wahda Ghurair defeated Al-Sadd Al-Mashaf in the Ka'ideena District's leg of the Prophet's Birthday tournament.
