Sanaa: Leaders and employees of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, the Planning Sector at the Prime Minister's Office, and the Central Statistical Organization organized a protest stand on Tuesday condemning the repeated insults to the Holy Qur'an, expressing support for Al-Aqsa Mosque, and solidarity with Lebanon and Palestine.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the protest, attended by Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Ibrahim Al-Hamli, Ministry Undersecretaries Mohammed Aqbat and Dr. Al-Hassan Al-Dhari, along with officials from the Planning Sector at the Prime Minister's Office and the Central Statistical Organization, raised slogans denouncing the enemies of Allah, and carried the Yemeni and Palestinian flags.
They chanted slogans condemning the systematic insults against the Book of Allah by global Zionism, denouncing American and Israeli actions in desecrating Islamic sanctities, and condemning the ongoing Zionist crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
A statement issued during the protest condemned the systematic offenses committed by global Zionism against Islamic sanctities, including the Holy Qur'an and the violations of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The statement affirmed that these offenses are part of broader efforts to target the nation militarily, economically, and culturally, undermining Islamic sanctities as part of efforts to subjugate and dominate the nation, destroy its capabilities, and plunder its resources.
The statement also denounced the continued Zionist crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, affirming the readiness of the Yemeni people to fulfill their religious and moral duties in confronting aggression and defending Islamic sanctities. It called on Arab and Islamic peoples to take effective action in support of Islamic sanctities, defend the causes of the nation, and boycott American and Israeli products.
The statement further urged all Arab and Islamic peoples to launch boycott campaigns against American and Israeli goods and to organize mass rallies in the capitals and cities of Arab and Islamic countries. The protest statement also reaffirmed Yemen's steadfast position in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the oppressed Palestinians, and Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons, as well as solidarity with Lebanon and its resistance fighters, stressing full readiness for any developments or escalation by the United States and Israel targeting the region and the Islamic nation.
