Sana'a: The General Authority of Al-Thawra Hospital in Ibb Governorate organized a protest on Saturday to denounce the actions of the Israeli government, particularly its blockade and policies impacting the residents of Gaza. The protest was attended by Dr. Abdulghani Ghabsha, the hospital's chairman, along with his deputies and the hospital's medical, health, and administrative personnel.

According to Yemen News Agency, the participants issued a statement during the rally condemning the targeting of civilians, displaced individuals, and health facilities in Gaza. The statement criticized Israel's attacks on medical facilities, labeling them as a 'stain of shame' on the international community, which is perceived as losing its humanity, credibility, and values. The statement further called for unconditional opening of crossings to facilitate the entry of essential food, medicine, and humanitarian aid into Gaza, which is currently experiencing severe famine conditions under a prolonged siege. It emphasized that the prevention of aid is tantamount to genocide, implicating global powers in this crime through their silence or support for Israel.

The statement also reiterated Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, framing the conflict with Israel as one of identity and existence. It emphasized that the Yemeni people remain committed to supporting Palestine regardless of the sacrifices involved.

Separately, Al-Sahoul General Hospital in Ibb also held a protest to condemn the actions of the Israeli government against the children, women, and elderly in Gaza. Dr. Ayman Al-Sadah, the hospital's director, and the hospital staff participated in the rally, which resulted in a statement declaring that the Israeli government's plans will ultimately fail and that free nations are capable of resisting on all fronts.

The statement from Al-Sahoul General Hospital described the protests as part of a larger 'battle of honor and dignity' fought by the Yemeni people alongside other nations against U.S.-Israeli dominance. It declared that the struggle in Gaza reflects the broader battle of the entire nation, with each act of resistance representing a challenge to the existing power dynamics and a signal that the era of domination and silence has ended.
