Hodeidah: The Colleges of Science and Administration in Bayt al-Faqih, along with the College of Education and the Center for Continuing Education in Zabid District, Hodeidah Governorate, organized two protest gatherings today condemning the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the continued aggression against Yemen, under the slogan: 'On the Anniversary of the September 21 Revolution. Steadfast with Gaza and Al-Aqsa Despite Aggression and Conspiracies.'
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the protests raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanted slogans of defiance, and carried banners affirming the boycott of American and Israeli products. They also displayed photos of Yemeni martyrs and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
The participants expressed pride in the achievements of the September 21 Revolution under its leadership, which they claimed had secured freedom, ended foreign influence, and aimed to ensure dignity and honor for future Yemeni generations. They commended the Revolution's leader, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and praised the strategic operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people.
A statement issued at the protests reaffirmed Yemen's support for Palestine and the resistance in Gaza, condemning Zionist aggression against civilians and journalists in Yemen and Gaza. It highlighted the ongoing military escalation and forced displacement in Gaza.
The statement also condemned the introduction of Zionist elements into Yemen by individuals claiming to represent the country, describing such actions as a betrayal of commitments toward Palestine. It called on Yemeni, Arab, and Islamic universities to intensify efforts to expose the conspiracies of the Zionist entity.
The protests were attended by deputy deans, general secretaries, academics, staff, students, and representatives of the University Students Forum.
