Jabal mahweet: Jabal Mahweet Multi-Purpose Agricultural Cooperative Association on Wednesday launched an initiative to reclaim 6,000 lebnah of farmland in the Ahjoul area of Jabal Mahweet district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative is being implemented with the participation of local farmers under the supervision of the association and in coordination with the provincial agricultural sector. The project is supported by the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit and backed by the local authority in the district.
Officials have emphasized that this project is expected to improve farmers' livelihoods, boost local production, and strengthen national efforts to achieve food security.
