Taiz:A local authority source from Taiz province has reported ongoing obstructions in the delivery of medical aid to the city due to Saudi-backed military gatherings.
According to Yemen News Agency, these military forces have been delaying international humanitarian organizations for the fifth consecutive day. The delays involve requests for postponements in delivering medical supplies from Sanaa to hospitals in the city via the Al-Hawban-Al-Qasr-Al-Kamb-Hawd Al-Ashraf road. This is reportedly due to concerns about violating Saudi directives to close all roads leading to the city center.
The source stated that the military forces are aware of the severe harm their actions are causing to the city and its residents. However, they accused the forces of ignoring the population's interests and using their suffering for media exposure on networks such as Al Arabiya, Al Jazeera, and Al Hadath. The source further claimed that Taiz is being besieged by Saudi Arabia and its allies from all directions.
