Damt: A Ramadan evening was held in Damt District, Al-Dhale'e Governorate, organized by the Customs Office in Dhamar and the Customs Port in Al-Dhale'. During the evening, the Acting Governor of Al-Dhale'e, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, emphasized the importance of utilizing the nights and days of the month of Ramadan with acts of obedience, equipping oneself with worship and piety, and reciting the Holy Quran.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shaghdari pointed out that the month of Ramadan serves as a spiritual educational station to equip oneself with guidance, revive the spirit of social solidarity, help the weak and poor, and listen to the daily guidance lessons of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He affirmed the necessity of paying attention to and facilitating people's transactions at the port and transit, praising the efforts of the customs work team in facilitating citizens' transactions.
During the evening, attended by the Director of Customs in Dhamar, Fahd Haza'a, the official in charge of the Damt port, Abdul Majeed Al-Sayyadi, touched upon the virtue of the month of Ramadan in which the Quran was revealed. He called for studying and contemplating the verses of the Holy Quran during the holy month, striving to facilitate transactions, provide services in the transit of goods, and monitor prohibited items.
