Ramadan Evenings in Sana’a Districts Commemorate Historical Islamic Events

Sana'a: Cultural evenings were held today in Sana'a Governorate commemorating the "Great Battle of Badr" under the slogan "The Day of Criterion" (Yawm al-Furqan) and the anniversary of the "Martyr of the Mihrab," Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), strengthening faith identity and continuing the path of general mobilization.

According to Yemen News Agency, the evening in the Uzlat al-Zubayrat area of Arhab District was attended by several figures and notables. Deputy Mobilization Official Katheer Al-Obaidi emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from pivotal moments in Islamic history, stressing a sincere return to God during this holy month through three practical paths. He highlighted Ramadan as a time for psychological change and repentance and cautioned against distractions that detract from the spirituality of fasting and worship.

In the Uzlat Ayyal Bilkhair area, attended by district executive directors and social figures, speeches by Director of the Guidance Sector Tariq Al-Qusayr, Sheikh Saleh Marah, and Allama Hashim Al-Ghayli underscored the historical significance of the Great Battle of Badr. They emphasized its role as a decisive battle between truth and falsehood, urging the nation to learn from these lessons in facing contemporary challenges. They asserted that jihad in the cause of God is the path to success and victory.

The speeches also addressed the repercussions of American-Zionist aggression on Iran and the assassination of Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei, affirming that the martyrs' blood will threaten American interests in the region. The evenings featured choral performances and an operetta celebrating the jihadist spirit and national symbols.

In Sanhan District, Bani Bahlul hosted a Ramadan evening attended by Youth and Sports Office Director Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif. The discussions focused on utilizing Ramadan to embrace God's guidance, drawing from the Battle of Badr and divine support for believers despite material disparities.

In Wadi Habab - Al Hantash area, Khawlan District, Head of the Planning and Finance Committee Ahmed Hantash and local dignitaries reiterated the importance of lessons from the Battle of Badr. They called for zakat payment, community awareness, and consolidating faith and Quranic culture during Ramadan, advocating for the teachings of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din.
