Raymah Officials Assess Medical Services at Al-Thulaya Hospital

Raymah: Raymah Governor Faris al-Habbari and Deputy Governor Hafedh al-Wahidi recently conducted a field visit to al-Thulaya General Hospital to evaluate the medical services being provided.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials received a briefing from Dr. Mohsen al-Azizi, Director of the Province’s Health Office, regarding the hospital’s medical services across various specialties. The briefing also highlighted the challenges faced by the hospital, including shortages in staff, medicine, and medical supplies.

During the visit, the officials inspected the Nutritional Stability Center, which is supported by the International Relief Organization and focuses on treating acute and severe malnutrition cases. Dr. Zaid al-Hawri, an official at the center, explained the services offered to malnourished children.

Governor al-Habbari emphasized the necessity of intensifying efforts to enhance patient care and improve the overall medical and health services at the hospital. He also stressed the importance of addressing the challenges that hinder the hospital’s operations.
