Sa'ada: Sa'ada governor Mohammed Awad inaugurated a new emergency department at the Republican Hospital Authority in Sa'ada province. The project was funded by a donor at a cost of $100,000.
According to Yemen News Agency, the new department has a capacity of 20 beds. It aims to improve emergency medical services and ease the pressure on the hospital. Officials praised the humanitarian initiative and called for further support to equip a women's emergency unit.
Hospital leadership expressed appreciation to the donor. They urged additional backing to upgrade the older emergency section as part of this year's development plans.
