Sana'a: Researcher Mithaq Saleh Al-Sa'adi has been awarded a PhD with distinction and honors in Public Relations and Advertising from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Sana'a University. The degree was granted for her dissertation titled 'Stereotypes of Local and Foreign Products and Their Impact on the Consumer Behavior of Yemeni Women - A Survey Study.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the examination and defense committee was chaired by Dr. Hassan Dajra from Al Hudaydah University as an external examiner, with Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Shawari from Sana'a University serving as internal examiner, and Dr. Omar Abreen from Sana'a University as the main supervisor. The committee praised the scientific content of the dissertation, its methodology, and the findings reached by the researcher, noting its academic value in the field of media and consumer behavior studies.
It recommended printing the thesis and distributing it among universities due to its importance in supporting local products and examining their competitiveness with foreign goods, as well as its relevance to consumer awareness and market behavior in Yemen.
