Sana'a: A meeting held on Monday, attended by the Minister of Public Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shaiban, and the Head of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, Judge Ibrahim Al-Mansour, discussed several joint issues related to the health sector and the development of its infrastructure.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Murtada, reviewed the latest procedures related to the Medical City project, foremost among them the completed legal and technical steps. It reaffirmed the handover of the project-designated land to the Ministry of Public Health through an official minutes, in addition to the delivery of its engineering and urban plans to proceed with implementation phases.
The discussion also addressed aspects related to strengthening specialized medical services, where it approved the allocation of land for the establishment of an integrated burns treatment center, along with the allocation of additional spaces to expand the oncology center, contributing to accommodating the increasing number of patients and providing comprehensive healthcare services.
