Lahj: Residents of Al-Qabbaitah District in Lahj Governorate have declared a state of general mobilization and heightened combat readiness to confront perceived threats from Israeli and American entities in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the announcement came during an armed tribal gathering, which included the participation of key figures such as the Governorate Mobilization Official, Jamil Al-Sufi, and the District Director, Waheed Al-Khudr. The gathering served as a platform for the residents to reaffirm their support for the Palestinian people and their cause.
The assembly, which also featured the District Mobilization Officer, Nabil Al-Mabarizi, along with local and military leaders, tribal elders, and social figures, echoed slogans of support for the Palestinian cause and adherence to the Qur'anic project. The participants expressed their opposition to those they view as agents and traitors serving American, Israeli, and Saudi interests, stating their commitment to support the fight for Palestine and stand with fighters in Gaza.
The statement from Al-Qabbaitah residents emphasized their preparedness to sacrifice in defense of the Palestinian people, granting full authorization to the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to make decisions against opposing forces. They called on fellow Yemenis to uphold Islamic values and struggle akin to their ancestors, drawing on the faith identity articulated by the Prophet's saying: 'Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni.'
The residents reiterated their vigilance and readiness to confront enemies on military and security fronts, emphasizing their unwavering support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and all oppressed nations. They expressed their belief in the eventual disappearance of the temporary Zionist entity, placing their trust in divine promise.
The gathering also conveyed congratulations to the Revolution Leader and the Yemeni people on the anniversary of the British withdrawal from the south, marking the end of a 128-year occupation. The statement highlighted the heroism of martyrs and fighters who resisted the 'empire on which the sun never sets,' leading to its defeat.
The statement concluded by asserting that the fate of oppressors, including the 'American-British-Israeli' trio, is eventual disappearance, regardless of their current power. It emphasized that united will and aligned ranks can achieve victory, relying on divine trust, and underscored the lesson of history that occupiers ultimately face departure.
