According to Yemen News Agency, at the forefront of the Lebanese components' positions, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem considered the framework agreement a humiliation, a disgrace, and a concession of sovereignty. He stated that the agreement is nonexistent and emphasized the need to apply the provisions of the Iranian-American memorandum of understanding. Sheikh Qassem called upon the Lebanese authority to retreat from their transgressions that are destroying Lebanon, offering cooperation for the country's sovereignty and the liberation of its land.
The Amal Movement also expressed its rejection of the "Framework Agreement," highlighting its imbalance and the political and sovereignty risks it entails. The Movement affirmed that the agreement does not protect Lebanon's rights or sovereignty and called for the complete withdrawal of the Israeli enemy from Lebanese territories.
Mohammed Raad, head of the Loyalty to Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, criticized the agreement as reflecting the Lebanese authority's submission to American guardianship and complicity with the Zionist enemy against the Lebanese people. Raad condemned the framework for inverting realities and failing to ensure Lebanon's sovereignty.
The Hezbollah Lawyers' Association warned against the constitutional violations associated with the agreement, urging the Lebanese authorities to cease direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy. The Association emphasized the importance of adhering to the Lebanese legal framework, which criminalizes communication with the Israeli enemy.
The Lebanese Resistance Current and Beirut Scholars' Association also rejected the agreement, calling it a threat to national unity and sovereignty. They warned against the dangers of internal strife and the abandonment of national responsibilities.
Deputy Hassan Fadlallah of the Loyalty to Resistance Bloc reiterated the importance of resistance in protecting Lebanon and its people. He criticized the authority for prioritizing external loyalties over national interests and signing a surrender document that undermines Lebanon's sovereignty. Fadlallah emphasized that the weapons of resistance are essential for liberating the land and defending the country's existence.
