Sana'a: Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi reaffirmed the Yemeni people's right to their just cause and legitimate demands to end the unjust siege and occupation imposed by Saudi Arabia under U.S. supervision for 12 years.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a speech marking the Prophet Mohammed's birthday before millions gathered in Sabaeen Square in Sana'a and other provinces, al-Houthi said the Saudi blockade has deprived Yemenis of their national wealth and closed airports, including flights for patients and travelers, while Saudi Arabia opens the airspace of Mecca and Medina to Israeli Jews.
He described Saudi Arabia's insistence on maintaining and tightening the siege, its hostile policy toward Yemen, military mobilization, and efforts to divide Yemenis as unjustifiable aggression serving Zionism against a neighboring Muslim people.
Al-Houthi said the Saudi regime bears full responsibility for the consequences of Yemen's policy of 'siege for siege' and targeting military mobilization. He called on Yemenis to rely on Allah and intensify their efforts to reclaim their legitimate rights and resist injustice, citing Quranic verses affirming the right of the oppressed to defend themselves.
He also reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to independence, its Islamic identity, and its rejection of any attempt to strip it of its rights, regardless of the challenges and sacrifices involved.
Al-Houthi further stressed Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, vowing continued support for Palestinians and their fighters until the liberation of Palestine and the restoration of Islamic holy sites, foremost among them Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Revolution Leader stressed Yemen's steadfast opposition to U.S. and Israeli Zionist tyranny targeting the entire Muslim nation under the guise of 'changing the Middle East' and establishing 'Greater Israel,' noting that Israel has been waging continuous aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran for six months.
He added: 'We affirm our support for the Muslim Iranian people and their Islamic system, and continue to strengthen the principle of unity among the fronts, enhance cooperation within the Axis of Jihad, support Islamic resistance in Lebanon, Palestine and other fronts. We call for joining the Axis of Jihad and Resistance.'
