Sana'a: The Deputy Mayer of the Sana'a capital for Public Works and Projects, Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, inspected on Tuesday the progress of the rehabilitation and asphalt paving project for the main entrance to Wadi Ahmed in Bani Al-Harith district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project, funded by the local authority at a cost of 87 million Yemeni riyals, was reviewed by Al-Houthi alongside the Director of Technical Supervision, Eng. Musa Al-Mansouri, and local community representatives. They inspected asphalt paving works covering 2,100 square meters, carried out by the Executive Unit for the Construction, Maintenance, and Development of Roads and Public Spaces.
Al-Houthi said the work is part of the second phase of the project, which covers a total area of 8,000 square meters and has reached 70 percent completion. He stressed the project's importance in rehabilitating the main entrance to the densely populated Wadi Ahmed area, saying it would improve traffic flow, enhance public services, and ease residents' daily transportation challenges.
