At the event, which was attended by Shura Council member Hadi al-Hamzi and the university's Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan Muawad, Sa'ada province undersecretary Saleh Aqab emphasized that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) came to restructure the nation, establish justice and equity, combat polytheism and tyranny, and guide the nation from darkness to light.

According to Yemen News Agency, Aqab highlighted the importance of emulating the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in all aspects of life, especially in the field of jihad and mobilization to confront the enemies of the nation. He explained that the Yemeni people are today presenting the finest examples of following the Prophet's example, adhering to their faith, and rejecting deviation and subservience. He called upon the university leadership, faculty, and students to prepare for the major event on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal, and he commended the operations carried out by the armed forces against the Saudi enemy's troop buildups and its mercenaries.

For his part, Muhammad al-Mutamayyiz, in his address on behalf of the university, spoke of the significance of the occasion and the importance of commemorating it, highlighting the opportunity it presents to strengthen the connection with the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and to emulate his noble example and life, drawing inspiration from the values of patience, sacrifice, and steadfastness that he exemplified in spreading the message of Islam. He explained that the commemoration of the Prophet's birth is a renewal of the pledge to follow the path of the Prophet as a leader, teacher, and revolutionary, in order to confront the siege and the forces of aggression. Al-Mutamayyiz called upon the Muslim Ummah to reject discord and unite around the Holy Quran, the unifying slogan, and the holy sites, foremost among them Al-Aqsa Mosque.
