Sana’a City Calls for Participation in a Comprehensive Cleaning Campaign in Preparation for Eid al-Adha

Sana'a: Sana'a City called on citizens, shop owners, market vendors, and street vendors to cooperate and participate in the comprehensive cleaning campaign that will begin this Tuesday evening in preparation for the blessed Eid al-Adha.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Mayor of the capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, stressed the importance of broad participation to ensure the success of the campaign, which will begin at 10 pm in all districts. The effort aims to improve street cleanliness, create a suitable atmosphere for spending the Eid holiday, and showcase the capital in a manner befitting its historical and cultural status.

Market owners, shopkeepers, and street vendors were urged to remove their displays and stalls before the campaign's launch. This measure is intended to facilitate the passage of cleaning and public works equipment, remove waste from streets and markets, regulate traffic, and reduce congestion.

Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the Cleaning Fund, Mohammed Sharaf Al-Din, and the Director of the Cleaning Project, Ibrahim Al-Sarabi, explained that the campaign will involve cleaning, public works, traffic, and directorate teams and equipment. This will be done in cooperation with security forces and under the supervision of the Secretariat's leadership and deputies. They emphasized that no waste should be removed after the campaign's completion and the passage of the cleaning vehicles.
