Sana'a: The Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Dr. Marwan Al-Mahaqeri, honored the Head of the Sana'a Appeals Court, Judge Taha Aqaba, and several divisions of appellate and primary courts, alongside distinguished judges from across the Republic.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony recognized the Third Criminal Division, the Second Criminal Division, and the First Commercial Division in Sana'a, as well as the top-ranking primary courts: Al-Sabeen, Bani Al-Harith, Al-Thawra, Al-Safiya, the Commercial Court, and the Fifth Ma'een Court. Among the judges in the capital, Judge Zaid Muhammad Al-Ghaffari secured the first rank, with Judge Abdullah Muhammad Al-Usta, Judge Jaber Muhammad Al-Maghles, Judge Issam Abdulhamid Al-Alfi, and Judge Yasser Ahmed Al-Amadi following in subsequent positions.
During the event, Judge Dr. Marwan Al-Mahaqeri stated that the recognition was based on statistics from the Authority, highlighting expedited case handling and the Capital Governorate's high performance. He noted that this acknowledgment aims to foster competition and ensure swift justice, with future privileges for the honored judges as a testament to their commitment.
He further clarified that this initiative is part of the Authority's oversight role, designed to enhance judicial performance, expedite case resolutions, and bolster public trust in the judiciary. Addressing pending cases remains a priority to resolve inefficiencies and ease litigants' burdens.
Judge Dr. Marwan Al-Mahaqeri also mentioned that the recognition aligns with the anniversary of the Prophet's birth, underscoring the spiritual and moral imperatives of justice and benevolence. He emphasized the occasion as an opportunity to reaffirm commitment to the values exemplified by Prophet Muhammad, as part of a broader strategy to fortify a judicial system rooted in these principles.
