Sana'a: The tribes of Khawlan Al-Tayyal in Sana'a governorate, in coordination with local authorities and the General Mobilization Committee of the eastern districts of Sana'a governorate, held a significant meeting on Tuesday to launch activities and events commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting took place in the Jehana district and was attended by Sana'a Undersecretary for Services, Faris al-Kuhali, and Sana'a undersecretary, Abdullah Al-Abyad. During the meeting, Al-Abyad highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birthday, particularly in the current context where the Yemeni people demonstrate resilience and pride in their identity amid challenges facing the Arab and Islamic nations.
Al-Abyad emphasized the importance of combining both official and public efforts to ensure the success of these commemorative events. He called upon all residents of Khawlan districts to actively engage in the diverse events, seminars, and activities planned across the villages and sub-districts, which will culminate in a central event in the capital, Sana'a.
Director of Jehana district, Saleh Mu'ayyad, stressed the importance of commemorating this religious occasion to draw inspiration from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). He noted that the anniversary serves as a spiritual milestone for strengthening faith and the connection to the Prophet and the divine message.
Cultural activist Abdulkarim Atif highlighted the need for a sense of responsibility and commitment during this occasion to strengthen social cohesion and support the needy, following the example of the Prophet of Mercy. He encouraged people to express joy and actively participate in reviving events dedicated to this blessed occasion.
