Sana'a: Sana'a governorate development team held an expanded meeting on Saturday to discuss mechanisms for implementing an integrated community and development plan in Nihm district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed a development strategy focused on three key areas: community, economic, and environmental development. The aim is to strengthen social cohesion, improve livelihoods, promote self-initiatives, and ensure the sustainable use of the district's agricultural resources.
Participants approved a package of practical measures, including the establishment of an agricultural and development cooperative for Nihm District. They agreed on the immediate launch of procedures for its registration and operation.
The governorate's development authorities were tasked with preparing a comprehensive work plan for the new cooperative. The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen the role of executive offices in the district and implement intensive training programs for local development teams to enhance their capacity and support development initiatives.
