According to Yemen News Agency, First Undersecretary Hamid Asim emphasized the importance of Imam Zaid's message, reminding attendees of his famous quote: "By Allah, the Book of Allah does not allow me to remain silent." The commemoration served as a platform to draw parallels between Imam Zaid's revolution, seen as a corrective force against tyranny, and the Yemeni people's current stance against perceived "American-Israeli enemies."
Speakers at the event highlighted the need to raise public awareness about global conspiracies. The discussions also addressed the ongoing massacres and starvation in Gaza, which were condemned as occurring without sufficient international action.
