Sana'a: Sana'a Governorate's Educational Sector organized on Monday a commemorative event marking the martyrdom of Imam Zaid, held under the slogan "Insight and Jihad." The event focused on reflecting upon the lessons from Imam Zaid's sacrifices to strengthen the resolve against injustice and support the Palestinian people.

According to Yemen News Agency, First Undersecretary Hamid Asim emphasized the importance of Imam Zaid's message, reminding attendees of his famous quote: "By Allah, the Book of Allah does not allow me to remain silent." The commemoration served as a platform to draw parallels between Imam Zaid's revolution, seen as a corrective force against tyranny, and the Yemeni people's current stance against perceived "American-Israeli enemies."

Speakers at the event highlighted the need to raise public awareness about global conspiracies. The discussions also addressed the ongoing massacres and starvation in Gaza, which were condemned as occurring without sufficient international action. Various officials attended the event, underscoring the importance of confronting these global challenges.
