Sana'a: Women's activities in the governorate center, Yarim, and Al-Qafr districts commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Zayd, peace be upon him, under the theme "Insight and Jihad." The events focused on the historical and spiritual significance of Imam Zayd's revolution.
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches delivered during the activities highlighted the importance of Imam Zayd's revolution, which emerged in the face of oppressive rulers. Grounded in the Quran, his movement had a significant impact on confronting tyrants and was viewed as a continuation of the revolution led by Imam Hussein.
Participants were encouraged to draw inspiration from Imam Zayd's life and adopt his example in standing against tyranny, particularly in response to the current weak stance of the nation concerning events in Gaza. The activities also featured poetry and hymns celebrating the heroism and prominence of the Imam.
