Sana'a: Districts across Sana'a Governorate are witnessing widespread momentum during the holy month of Ramadan with the organization of religious and community Ramadan evenings, gatherings, and programs.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ramadan evenings and gatherings held in villages and sub-districts across the governorate address issues related to strengthening the faith-based identity, unifying efforts to alleviate the suffering of the needy, and supporting the causes of the nation.

Participants in the Ramadan gatherings and evenings are keen to benefit from the lectures of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, which provide guidance in light of the challenges facing the nation and the targeting it faces from its enemies.

Sana'a Governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi affirmed that Ramadan gatherings and evenings represent an important opportunity and a spiritual station to draw guidance from Allah Almighty. In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor al-Hadi praised the strong engagement of the governorate's residents in organizing Ramadan programs, evenings, and gatherings during the Year of Steadfastness, reflecting societal awareness of the importance of drawing closer to Allah through acts of worship during the month of mercy and forgiveness.

He pointed to the importance of Ramadan gatherings in reviewing the conditions of the poor and needy and cooperating with the families of martyrs, the wounded, prisoners, and the missing. Governor al-Hadi urged making use of Ramadan gatherings to mobilize efforts and energies to confront American arrogance and Zionist intransigence, continue mobilization efforts, organize 'Al-Aqsa Flood' courses, and strengthen resilience in the face of aggression.

Meanwhile, Secretary-General of the Local Council Abdulqader al-Jilani, First Deputy Governor Hamid Asim, and the governorate's Mobilization Official Faiz al-Hannami highlighted the importance of Ramadan programs in refining character, activating the role of society in achieving social solidarity, consolidating the faith identity, and deepening values of love and harmony among members of society.

They stressed the need to utilize Ramadan gatherings and evenings to enhance public awareness of the dangers of conspiracies that the United States and its ally Israel seek to carry out to fragment the social fabric and distort the positions of Islamic peoples and the free resistance in supporting the Palestinian people, their valiant resistance, and defending Islamic holy sites.

Ramadan 1447 comes at a difficult stage for the nation amid American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and southern Lebanon, as well as the continued crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the targeting of countries in the region to drag them into a direct confrontation with Iran.

Residents of Sana'a Governorate are keen to attend Ramadan gatherings and evenings due to the religious lessons and lectures they include, as well as participation in Ramadan activities that strengthen faith identity and deepen attachment to the Holy Qur'an. These gatherings and evenings also provide a suitable environment for exchanging views, discussing service-related issues, strengthening bonds of brotherhood among members of society, and mobilizing efforts to confront the enemies of the nation.
