Sana'a: On this day, March 7, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched a series of airstrikes on several governorates, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of civilians and widespread destruction of their property.
According to Yemen News Agency, on March 7, 2016, two citizens were martyred, others were injured, and many homes were damaged due to four airstrikes on Al-Radaf area in Al-Wazi'iyah district of Taiz governorate. Additionally, in the same district, airstrikes targeted civilian cars, leading to further casualties. Many areas in Taiz, including Al-Lisan and the Old Airport, suffered destruction from repeated raids.
In other parts of the country, such as the Baran area in Nihm district of Sana'a governorate, airstrikes caused significant damage to homes and property. The following year, on March 7, 2017, similar attacks occurred across Sana'a, Marib, and Saada governorates, leaving a trail of destruction and civilian casualties.
The situation remained dire on March 7, 2018, when airstrikes on a house in Hamdan district of Sana'a governorate resulted in the deaths of four children, two women, and a man. Another airstrike in Kahlan area around Saada city killed a girl and injured nine others, mostly women and children.
In subsequent years, the aggression continued unabated. On March 7, 2019, and 2020, airstrikes and shelling by mercenaries caused further civilian deaths and injuries in various governorates, including Taiz, Hodeida, and Saada. The relentless attacks damaged homes, farms, and essential infrastructure.
By March 7, 2021, airstrikes in Sana'a injured three citizens and damaged both public and private property. A bus carrying children with disabilities was also targeted in Taiz governorate, injuring two girls.
The aggression persisted on March 7, 2022, with missile and artillery shelling by the Saudi army in Saada and other governorates, leading to more casualties and property damage. Similarly, on March 7, 2023, Saudi enemy fire resulted in civilian casualties in Saada governorate.
The latest incident, on March 7, 2025, involved the serious injury of a woman and damage to a citizen's car due to the explosion of an object from previous aggression in Hodeida governorate.
