Sana’a Honors Winners of Science, Technology Olympiad’s 2nd Season

Sana'a: The General Authority for Science, Research, Technology and Innovation honored 90 students who won in the second season of the Science and Technology Olympiad.

According to Yemen News Agency, officials highlighted plans to develop science and math curricula, including introducing engineering concepts at early education levels, and stressed the role of scientific competitions in fostering creativity and healthy competition.

The Olympiad, held in two tracks-science challenges and creative projects-attracted wide participation, with finalists selected through multiple stages.

Organizers described it as a key platform for discovering talent, building research and critical thinking skills, and promoting innovation. Winners received gold, silver, and bronze medals, certificates, training programs, and awards including laptops for top achievers.
