Sana'a: The Administrative Committee of the Local Council in the capital Sana'a, under the leadership of Mayor Dr. Hamoud Obad, convened to deliberate on the execution of several service projects as outlined in the local authority's 1448 AH plan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee reviewed requests for implementing projects included in the plan and deliberated on procedures to advance them. A report concerning completed and ongoing community initiative projects in water and sanitation was also reviewed, along with studies for projects proposed under the current year's budget.
The meeting directed the capital's Roads and Public Places Executive Unit to carry out approved road projects and instructed the Projects Sector to finalize the procedures for announcing approved projects in the education sector. Additionally, the heads of the council's Planning and Finance and Services Committees were tasked with visiting the Capital Secretariat's Public Works Office to identify obstacles impeding its operations.
Mayor Obad emphasized the necessity of coordinated efforts to implement service and development projects efficiently and enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
