Sana’a: A meeting held in Sana’a today, led by Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Adel Badr, discussed preparations for commemorating the Annual Martyr’s Anniversary 1447 AH with a central event.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included participation from key figures such as the Undersecretary of the Electricity Sector, Engineer Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, the Chairman of the General Corporation for Electrical Industries, Abdulghani Al-Madani, the Head of the Executive Committee for the Annual Martyr’s Anniversary, Taqi Al-Din Al-Mataa, the Director General of the General Electricity Corporation, Dr. Mish’al Al-Rifi, and the Director of the Rural Electricity Authority, Engineer Nabil Mahram. The attendees reviewed plans for the event, which will involve organizing a central commemoration, visiting martyrs’ gardens and families associated with the Ministry’s Diwan and its affiliated bodies, and honoring these families in recognition of their relatives’ sacrifices for Yemen’s defense, sovereignty, and independence.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Badr highlighted the importance of appropriately commemorating the Annual Martyr’s Anniversary, reflecting the significance of martyrdom and the sacrifices made in defending the homeland’s security and stability. He underscored the occasion as a vital opportunity to honor the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for the nation, emphasizing the heroic actions of Yemeni martyrs in supporting national causes, including the Palestinian cause and the mujahideen in Gaza.
Badr also stressed the need to complete the necessary arrangements for the Ministry’s central Annual Martyr’s Anniversary, promoting the culture of martyrdom and recognizing the sacrifices of the martyrs. These elements are seen as crucial for achieving victory and overcoming global domination challenges posed by “America and Israel” and their regional agents.
