Sana’a Officials Oversee Fruit Tree Planting Campaign

Sana'a: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed al-Madani, Agriculture Minister Dr. Radwan al-Rubai'i, and Capital Mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad on Wednesday reviewed and participated in a fruit tree planting campaign in al-Thawra and al-Wahda districts. The officials were actively involved in planting trees on Western Sixtieth Street and coffee seedlings on Algeria Street, as part of an initiative led by the Capital Secretariat's Agriculture Sector and Knights of Development.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Madani highlighted the economic and environmental benefits of the campaign and urged community participation along with the establishment of local nurseries. Mayor Ubad noted that over 13,500 fruit trees have been planted in the last ten months, emphasizing the continued efforts to green the capital and foster agricultural development.
