Sana'a:Tribes in the Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah District of Sana'a Governorate have declared a tribal mobilization and general alert to counter Saudi escalation, aiming to defend Yemen and safeguard its resources and rights.
According to Yemen News Agency, during an armed tribal gathering, participants committed to ongoing mobilization activities and training courses to support the army against Saudi attacks and military buildups, including both local and foreign proxies. District Director Kamal Al-Askari commended the gathering, viewing it as a stance against the continued Saudi aggression and blockade, which he claims have resulted in killing, destruction, and starvation. He urged for increased unity to thwart Saudi plans and liberate occupied territories.
Tribal notable Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nashi accused the Saudi enemy of continuing to serve British interests to the detriment of Yemen, aiming to undermine the country and destroy its identity. A statement from the gathering emphasized the tribes' readiness to support the army with personnel, weapons, and funds. It cautioned the Saudi adversary against further escalation, blockade, and crimes against Yemenis, pledging to persist in confronting what they termed Saudi aggression.
The tribes also reaffirmed their full authorization for Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to make decisions aimed at ending the aggression, lifting the blockade, recovering looted resources, and pursuing a policy of 'escalation in response to escalation.'
