Sana'a: Sana'a University, in cooperation with the Preparatory Committee for the Fourth Conference 'Palestine: The Central Cause of the Nation,' organized an intellectual seminar titled 'Methods of Zionist Influence on the West, the United States, and Arab Normalizers.'
According to Yemen News Agency, University Rector Dr. Mohammed al-Bukhaiti highlighted the seminar's importance in equipping cultural studies instructors with knowledge related to identity, culture, and the Palestinian cause. He noted that cultural subjects like 'Arab-Israeli Conflict' and 'National Culture' have become increasingly relevant to students.
Speakers at the seminar presented four research papers on various topics, including the historical roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict, the evolution of Western and Christian views of Judaism, and the emergence and expansion of Zionism. Discussions also covered the spread of Zionist ideology in Europe, political developments leading to the establishment of Israel, and regional implications.
A particularly notable paper examined the role of certain Arab governments in aligning with U.S. and Israeli policies. The seminar concluded with a paper emphasizing the importance of boycotting U.S. and Israeli products and supporting the Palestinian people.
Participants underscored the value of seminars like this in raising awareness about the Palestinian cause and helping students understand the broader geopolitical and historical context of the conflict.
