Sana'a: Sana'a University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti inaugurated the 'Nawa 2026' exhibition, the first student exhibition focused on Internet of Things (IoT) projects, organized by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology. The event featured participation from students within the Computer Science and Information Technology departments.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Bukhaiti, alongside Cultural Advisor Abdul Salam Al-Mutamayez and Assistant for Media Affairs Adel Al-Habbabi, explored the various projects on display, which will be showcased over a two-day period. The university president received detailed explanations from College Dean Dr. Ahmed Al-Shalabi and the students regarding their project ideas and implementation strategies.
The exhibition is designed to highlight students' innovative capabilities in IoT, aiming to transform academic concepts into technological prototypes. It seeks to enhance innovation and teamwork skills while connecting academic theory with practical application.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti commended the students for their skills in design and programming, emphasizing the significance of the projects as practical models that illustrate the application of academic knowledge in developing real-world solutions. He advocated for the continued development of these projects and the increased utilization of scientific and technological advancements to benefit the community.
