Sana’a: On this day, February 10, multiple incidents of military aggression by US-Saudi-Emirati forces resulted in the deaths and injuries of numerous civilians, including women and children, across various Yemeni governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, on February 10, 2016, a targeted air raid in the Al-Sab’een district of Sana’a claimed the lives of TV director Munir al-Hakimi, his wife, TV employee Suad Hijira, and their three children. Additional airstrikes in Sa’ada governorate led to the deaths of several civilians and caused significant damage to properties and infrastructure.
The following year, on February 10, 2017, a child was killed, and another was injured due to remnants of a shell in Jawf Governorate. The aggression continued with airstrikes targeting vehicles and communication networks across Sa’ada and other regions, resulting in further civilian casualties and property destruction.
On February 10, 2018, Saudi forces injured a civilian in Sa’ada Governorate, while air raids damaged homes, farms, and vehicles. The attacks extended to border areas, causing the death of livestock and further devastation to citizens’ properties.
In 2019, the aggression persisted with the martyrdom of a civilian by Saudi border guards. Airstrikes in various districts of Sa’ada and Amran governorates resulted in injuries and extensive damage to citizens’ homes and properties.
The pattern of aggression continued into 2020, with multiple air raids in Kitaf and Sana’a governorates, alongside artillery shelling in Hodeida, causing significant property damage and heightened tensions among the civilian population.
By February 10, 2021, the violence had escalated with the killing of a civilian in Sa’ada Governorate. Airstrikes in Marib caused substantial damage to homes and farms, while mercenaries constructed fortifications and shelled numerous areas in Hodeida.
In 2022, two citizens were killed in Sa’ada due to artillery shelling, with additional air raids wreaking havoc on homes and infrastructure across various districts. The aggression continued with the destruction of communication networks and further attacks on civilian properties.
Most recently, on February 10, 2023, spy aircraft launched attacks in Hodeida, while mercenaries fortified positions and bombarded the region with artillery, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and ongoing conflict in Yemen.
