Sana'a: The Eastern Sector Agricultural Cooperative Society launched the first profit distribution to its 1,642 shareholders, awarding 2,000 riyals per share, totaling seven million riyals. The launch was attended by Majid Al-Ghaili, Director of Social Affairs, and Abdullah Al-Marwani, head of the governorate's Development Team.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event highlighted the cooperative's commitment to transparency, development, and supporting agriculture in the region. Chairman Abdul-Razzaq Al-Mukharfi noted that the cooperative provides a range of services to farmers, including improved seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, land plowing at low cost, technical guidance, training, and veterinary support.
Officials also toured the cooperative's Yafa'iya Agricultural Nursery, reviewing seedlings and crop varieties distributed to local cooperative societies to boost agricultural productivity.
