Hajjah: The Sada Foundation for Construction and Development in Hajjah governorate has launched the 'Eid Joy' project, which includes distributing Eid clothing to orphaned children, people with disabilities, and the most underprivileged families.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project, now in its ninth consecutive year, targets 300 orphans, disabled individuals, and children from the poorest families in the district center, including Haraba, Hamlan, Bayt Qadam, Bayt Al-Nafish, and Sharis.
The foundation's chairman, Walid Al-Alayi, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the organization is committed to implementing charitable projects that help ease the suffering of orphans, people with disabilities, and the most vulnerable families, especially amid the difficult conditions facing the country. He also praised the role of relevant entities in facilitating the work and overcoming challenges.
At the launch event, the foundation's branch director in the governorate, Bakr Sana'a, and project coordinator Ibrahim Al-Alayi stated that the project comes as part of the foundation's plans to alleviate the hardships of the poor. They added that over the past eight years, the foundation has supported 3,647 children.
