Sana'a: Mass rallies and protest vigils were held across Sana'a governorate on Friday under the slogan 'Mobilization and Readiness. In Support of the Qur'an and Palestine.' Participants chanted slogans condemning repeated U.S. insults to the Holy Qur'an and reaffirmed steadfast adherence to Islamic values and support for the Palestinian people.
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants stressed that such offenses would only strengthen Yemenis' commitment to the Qur'an and resilience in the face of what they described as foreign aggression. A statement issued by the rallies held the United States, Britain, and Israel responsible for repeated insults to Islamic sanctities.
The statement called for continued public mobilization and economic boycotts of U.S. and Israeli goods, and reaffirmed readiness to confront future challenges while maintaining support for Palestine.
