Al-Bayda:The National Human Rights Authority has condemned recent Saudi airstrikes on civilian areas in Na'man District, Al-Bayda Governorate, and Ans District in Dhamar Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the authority reported that the airstrikes on Sunday targeted a telecommunications tower and facility in Jabal Rofan, Thamar village, Ans District. These attacks caused extensive material damage and disrupted telecommunications services in the area.
The authority claimed that these attacks are part of a systematic campaign against Yemen's civilian telecommunications infrastructure. It stated that since 2015, Saudi forces and their allies have destroyed more than 2,200 telecommunications sites and facilities across Yemen.
The National Human Rights Authority has called on the UN, the International Telecommunication Union, and the international community to condemn these attacks. It also urged human rights organizations to speak out against what it described as ongoing violations against the Yemeni people.
