Sana'a:The Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, Hassan Sharaf al-Din, visited injured patients at the Military Hospital in Sana'a, accompanied by department heads, deputies, and directors-general from the Secretariat.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sharaf al-Din and his delegation presented symbolic gifts to the wounded, wishing them a speedy recovery. They acknowledged the patients' heroic roles and sacrifices, expressing appreciation for those injured and killed while defending the homeland.
Sharaf al-Din emphasized that visiting the wounded was the least that could be done in recognition of their sacrifices. He praised the hospital administration and its medical, nursing, technical, and administrative staff for their efforts in providing care and treatment.
The wounded expressed gratitude for the visit, viewing it as a reflection of the leadership's concern for their welfare.
In a separate event, Sharaf al-Din launched a blood donation campaign in Sana'a to support the wounded. He noted that the campaign coincides with Yemen's celebrations of the September 21 and September 26 revolutions and aims to replenish blood banks, support the health sector, and assist wounded and sick individuals.
He highlighted the leadership's commitment to easing the suffering of the wounded, calling for broad participation in the blood donation campaign.
The visit included officials such as Osama al-Shami from the Protocol Department, Sharif Ayda from the Financial and Administrative Department, Mohammed al-Hadrami from the Technical Affairs Department, Abdullah al-Radhi from the Secretary-General's Office, and Ali Nour al-Din from the Oversight Department.
