Taiz:Brigadier General Yahya Saree reported that a Saudi military formation comprising F-15 aircraft departed from the Khamis Mushait base and carried out airstrikes in Taiz Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Saudi airstrikes targeted a market in the Mafraq Mawiyah area of Taiz at 11:29 AM, resulting in approximately 50 casualties, including both deaths and injuries. The aircraft left the Taiz airspace shortly after and conducted additional strikes in Al-Jawf Governorate.
The spokesperson noted that after the attack on Taiz, the aircraft continued to Al-Jawf Governorate, where they launched four airstrikes on the Khabb wa ash-Sha'af District before returning to the Khamis Mushait base in Saudi Arabia at 2:00 PM.
Brigadier General Saree condemned the attacks as a severe crime against civilians and warned that the actions would have serious repercussions for the Saudi forces involved.
