Accra:Sanaa In a devastating incident that recalls the ongoing violence against civilians, a strike by Saudi aircraft turned the home of Ali Al-Qahm in the Al-Tawilah area of Sahar District, Saada Governorate, into ruins. The attack, which occurred last Sunday at 1230 p.m., led to the deaths of ten citizens and injuries to 23 others, including many women and children.
According to Yemen News Agency, the massacre at Al-Qahm's home is part of a broader pattern of increasing hostilities by Saudi forces against Yemen. This incident followed another attack in the Hamir Al-Jabal area in Muqbanah District, Taiz Governorate, which resulted in nine fatalities and 16 injuries. These incidents highlight the continued targeting of civilians and the violation of international humanitarian law by Saudi forces.
The attacks are not limited to residential areas. Saudi aircraft also targeted two fishing boats off the coast of Al-Kadha in the coastal Dhubab District, Taiz Governorate, resulting in the deaths of eight fishermen. These strikes represent a continued assault on civilians' livelihoods and are seen as a violation of international and humanitarian laws.
The international community's silence on these incidents raises concerns about bias and the use of double standards in addressing human rights violations. Yemeni citizens insist that the Saudi regime's actions will not be forgotten and emphasize their resilience in the face of ongoing aggression.
