Sana'a:Yemen The Yemen Petroleum Company has condemned recent airstrikes by Saudi forces on its facilities, including the Al-Sabah site in Sana'a and a vehicle fueling station in Bajil District. The company emphasized that these are civilian service facilities essential to the public.
According to Yemen News Agency, the company stated that these attacks are part of a prolonged 12-year campaign against Yemen's petroleum sector. This campaign has reportedly targeted hundreds of fuel stations and petroleum tankers, thereby disrupting essential services and exacerbating the blockade.
The company further emphasized that all its facilities are for civilian use, serving the basic needs of the Yemeni population. It dismissed any opposing claims as baseless pretexts.
Despite the attacks, the company assured citizens that petroleum products remain available in sufficient quantities. Measures are in place to maintain stable supplies and ensure continued distribution.
