Saudi Allegations Against Yemen Reflect Desperation, Says Yemeni Government Spokesman

Sana'a:Government spokesperson Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti condemned Saudi Arabia's repeated allegations against Yemen, stating that they reflect the Saudi regime's bankruptcy and failure. He accused Saudi Arabia of attempting to involve Islamic regimes and governments in its aggression against Yemen and legitimizing its actions against Yemeni civilians.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Bukhaiti asserted that Saudi Arabia's claims about Yemen targeting holy sites in Mecca and Medina are premeditated fabrications. He suggested these allegations serve as a tactic to undermine the sanctity of Islamic holy sites and align with a Zionist agenda.

The statement from Dr. Al-Bukhaiti held Saudi Arabia responsible for any potential harm to the holy sites, emphasizing that the Saudi regime would face accountability from both Yemen and the broader Muslim community. He warned of catastrophic consequences should any damage occur to significant religious locations such as Al-Masjid al-Haram.

Dr. Al-Bukhaiti expressed surprise over the support from other Arab and Islamic countries for Saudi Arabia's narrative, which he claimed originates from Zionist interests. He criticized these countries for aligning with what he described as a project aimed at expanding Zionist influence under the guise of the 'Greater Israel' initiative.
