Taiz:Government Spokesperson Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti has condemned the escalating actions of the Saudi regime against the Yemeni people, highlighting a recent attack on the Taiz Central Market near the Mawiyah Junction.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Bukhaiti reported that Saudi aircraft bombed commercial shops in the area, resulting in preliminary figures of 47 civilian casualties, including five children, either killed or wounded.
He labeled the attack on civilians as a brutal and premeditated war crime, criticizing the Saudi regime for ignoring the Yemeni people's demands to halt aggression, lift the blockade, and respect neighborly relations. Instead, he accused the regime of shedding Yemeni blood to fulfill the agendas of Tel Aviv and Washington.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti further condemned the international community's silence regarding the crimes against Yemenis, urging them to reconsider their stance. He emphasized that the Yemeni people would defend themselves against those targeting their children, women, and infrastructure, and criticized the complicity with the ongoing violence that has persisted for 12 years.
