Scholars’ Gathering in Hodeida Stresses Continued Mobilization, Preparedness

Hodeida: A broad gathering of scholars, preachers, and community leaders was held in Hodeida province on Tuesday, organized by the General Authority of Endowments and Guidance in cooperation with the Yemeni Scholars Association, to reinforce public awareness and mobilization amid ongoing regional tensions.

According to Yemen News Agency, speakers, including Yemen's Grand Mufti Shamsuddin Sharafuddin, emphasized the role of religious leaders in strengthening public awareness, countering hostile narratives, and preparing society for any upcoming confrontations.

The speakers highlighted the importance of unity, social cohesion, and the responsibility of scholars and preachers to address current challenges and guide the public.

Participants underscored the historical role of scholars and tribal leaders in defending the nation and called for intensified outreach efforts, particularly among youth, to counter ideological and media campaigns.

The final statement reaffirmed commitment to continued awareness efforts, support for national resilience, and prioritization of the Palestinian cause.
