Kassala: The Acting Secretary-General of the National Investment Authority, Ehlam Madani Mahdi, described the upcoming Third Investment Forum in Kassala, scheduled for Tuesday, as a major event aimed at exchanging ideas and producing recommendations to boost investment in the state.
According to Sudan News Agency, Ehlam highlighted Kassala's abundant resources and emphasized that the forum will promote the state's investment potential, introduce relevant laws and procedures, and showcase investment opportunities while fostering partnerships with investors.
The forum will feature several working papers covering legal and procedural frameworks, investment opportunities in productive and service sectors, and include an accompanying exhibition showcasing successful investment experiences. Projects in agriculture (rain-fed and irrigated), animal resources, industry, energy, and waste management will also be presented.
She confirmed the National Investment Authority's readiness to address all impediments facing investors in the states, stressing plans to organize more forums, activate free zones, establish new ones, and review and prepare necessary requirements for state investment projects.
