Security Department of Sala District Celebrates Prophet’s Birthday with Evening Event

Taiz: The Security Department of Sala District in Taiz Governorate organized an evening celebration on the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Sala District Director Mohammed Mohsen, Deputy Police Chief of the Governorate Brigadier General Abdurabah Al-Hajj, and Commander of the Special Security Forces in the governorate Colonel Ahmed Darham.

In his address, cultural activist Issam Al-Kuhlani highlighted the importance of unity and social cohesion in facing challenges, emphasizing the need to draw lessons from the Prophet's life to strengthen resilience and steadfastness. He described the anniversary as a renewed opportunity to reinforce faith-based and social bonds among community members, noting that commemorating the occasion in the 'land of faith and wisdom' embodies loyalty to the Messenger of Allah and reflects the deep spiritual identity of the people of Sala District.

Al-Kuhlani also urged community leaders and residents to actively participate in a manner befitting the greatness of the Prophet's birth, stressing that celebrating the birth of the Messenger of mercy reflects authentic Muhammadan values and the strong attachment of the Yemeni people-known as the people of faith and wisdom-to the Prophet.

For his part, Captain Rifaat Al-Adimi, Head of Moral Guidance at the district's Security Department, affirmed the profound place this occasion holds in the hearts of Yemenis and their keenness to observe it as a sign of their devotion to the Prophet. He called for broad participation in the events as a collective message to adversaries, confronting their failed attempts to erase the faith-based identity of the nation.
