Al-thawra district: A cultural seminar was held today in Al-Thawra District, Capital Secretariat, on the occasion of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and complete peace be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by the Advisor to the Supreme Political Council, Ali bin Ali Al-Qaisi, the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, and a number of leaders, sheikhs, and academics. The event focused on the virtues and qualities of the Greatest Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), his stances, courage, and his faith-based and jihadist biography. Additionally, it highlighted the close connection of Yemenis to him.

During the seminar, the Mayor of the Capital spoke about the historical relationship connecting Yemenis to their noble Messenger. He elaborated on how Yemenis were the first to pledge allegiance to him, offering shelter and support since the dawn of his call, and how they had the honor of spreading the message of Islam globally.

He affirmed that celebrating the anniversary of the birth of light embodies the faith-based identity of the Yemeni people, their adherence to the path of the Final Prophet and the Holy Quran, and their emulation of his guidance. It serves as a spiritual and mobilization station for drawing from the pure prophetic biography the values, faith-based principles, and jihadist spirit needed to confront the enemies of the nation and their conspiratorial schemes.

Abbad highlighted the noble objectives and meanings of commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi. He emphasized the importance of glorification and mobilization for this occasion to ensure wide and honorable participation in the grand central event, out of love, veneration, and loyalty to the Messenger of God, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and to enrage the enemies and hypocrites.

Participants called on everyone to mobilize and turn out in a million-strong, honorable presence at the grand Muhammadan celebration at Al-Sabeen Square and other squares associated with the Greatest Messenger, in a manner befitting the greatness of this religious occasion and its place in the hearts of Yemenis.
