Ibb: Several districts in Ibb governorate witnessed cultural events and evenings on Tuesday to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. In Al-Mashna district, cultural evenings were held for residents of Upper and Lower Mahadib, Wadi Dhahab, and Al-Sa'ila and Al-Mazarib neighborhoods. In Al-Dhehar district, similar events took place for the people of Nuzhat Al-Sharaf and Naqil Al-Jazar neighborhoods, as well as Al-Madriya and Al-Madriya Al-Gharbiya neighborhoods. Additionally, the Martyrs Foundation organized an evening in Al-Sha'ir district, with another event in the city of Jibla.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dhi As-Sufal District witnessed two speeches in Habir and Al-Wahs sub-districts, alongside two evenings organized by the district's health and public works offices and the city of Al-Qa'idah. These events saw participation from several leaders, officials, and directors of executive offices. The programs included speeches, lectures, poetry, chants, and songs inspired by folk traditions, reflecting the joy of the religious occasion and its significance in reflecting on the life of the Prophet Muhammad.
The speeches emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as an opportunity to strengthen awareness of his message, renew connections, and draw lessons and inspiration from his life. The speakers highlighted the need to translate the Prophet's values into behavior, practice, and responsibility in all aspects of life. They noted the Prophet's life as a model of mercy, justice, and support for the oppressed, promoting solidarity, cooperation, social cohesion, and service to humanity.
